Fabio de Beaumont is a winemaker from Campania of aristocratic origin who, in 2014, took up and elevated the family's agricultural tradition, established since 1675 in the mountainous area of Castelvetere sul Calore, in the province of Avellino. However, until the 1970s and 1980s, the De Beaumont lineage destined the grapes they cultivated for direct sale, and then began to make wine and market it on their own. Today, Fabio is supported in his adventure by his grandmother, Baroness Alessandra, and his father Francesco, as well as Marco Moccia, an expert agronomist consultant.

The hectares dedicated to the vineyards of Fabio de Beaumont's reality are 4, reserved for the traditional varieties of the Castelvetere sul Calore area, namely Fiano, Coda di Volpe and Aglianico, as well as Malvasia and Barbera, the latter brought by an ancestor of Fabio's directly from Piedmont. These vines, which benefit from a cool climate, the volcanic origin of the soils and the altitude of between 500 and 700 metres above sea level, are cultivated according to organic farming principles, limiting the use of treatments, which are in any case carried out with low doses of copper and sulphur. The Barbera vineyard has also escaped phylloxera and includes vines over 150 years old, bred using the traditional Avellino pergola system, a real viticultural heritage. The winery adopts an oenology aimed at enhancing the most authentic essence of the terroir, based on spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, often with maceration on the skins even for the white grapes, and ageing always in steel on the fine lees. Moreover, taking advantage of the cool climate and the important altitude of the vineyards, Fabio is also dedicated to the production of sparkling and semi-sparkling wines, made using the Ancestral Method and the Classic Method. Regardless of the label in question, throughout the entire production cycle the use of additives and invasive operations is excluded, with only very low doses of sulphites added when necessary.

Fabio de Beaumont's wines reflect the mountainous spirit of the region, offering a fresh, vertical style with beautiful tension. Alongside the actual wine production, Fabio also makes aromatised wines and liqueurs using fine local ingredients, including wild black cherry leaves.
