Belisario's Red 'Riserva San Leopardo' recalls the historic 'Rosso Matelica', a 19th century wine and powerful blend of traditional grapes. This wine is distinguished by a long maceration of the skins and exclusive ageing in large casks to enhance structure and complexity. The nose is dominated by aromas of ripe red fruit, with notes of coffee and vanilla. The palate is soft and very warm with well-integrated tannins. Perfect with traditional dishes such as vincisgrassi or chicken 'in potacchio'
Intense purple red with ruby hue
Intense hints of cherry, plum and blackberry, subtle aromas of tobacco and vanilla
Structured, velvety and broad, round tannins
