A Rosso di Montalcino from Villa al Cortile is a wine made by the Piccini family in the hills of Montosoli and Lavacchio. A product of tradition, lighter and less aged than Brunello, the grapes, however, come from its own, well-tended vineyards. With hints of cherry and pleasant vanilla hints on the finish, it is agile on the palate, with a nervous, powerful and dry bite. Ideal companion for pasta with tomato sauce and grilled meats
Intense ruby red with garnet hues
Red fruits such as cherry, then hints of blackberry, orange peel, tobacco and vanilla on the finish
Intense and fresh, with a taut, powerful and clear bite
