Conti d'Arco's Lagrein is a full-bodied red wine from the Rotaliana plain, which matures in wood to achieve great softness on the palate. On the nose there are at first intense aromas of berries, on the finish there are slight hints of eucalyptus and liquorice. The palate is immediately striking in its structure, but is round, velvety and rather persistent. Ideal with traditional first courses such as spatzle with speck or venison ragout
Intense ruby red with violet hues
Attack with berries such as blackberry and raspberry, balsamic finish with eucalyptus and liquorice
Round and structured, silky on the palate and quite long on the palate
