Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese 'Baudolino' is a delicate and fresh red wine made from grapes of a typical and noble Monferrato variety. The silty-calcareous soils with clay outcrops give finesse and good structure to the wine, which is aged for six months in steel in order to preserve its fruity character to the full. The nose has intense floral hints with aromas of dog rose and geranium crowned by juicy aromas of wild strawberries and spices. The palate is graceful but not subtle, with silky tannin and great freshness. Perfect with poultry, try it with a typical fritto misto
