Friulano Villa Folini 2023

The Friulano from the Villa Folini winery embodies the spirit of Friuli in an immediate and refreshing, yet non-trivial way. The nose releases a bouquet of stone fruits such as peach and apricot, then hints of citrus and typical fresh almond on the finish. On the palate, crispness and finesse are immediately noticeable, as well as a smooth mouthfeel. At the table it is versatile, good both with San Daniele ham and with shellfish such as 'scampi alla busara'.
