FRANCIACORTA ROSÉ BRUT 'CUVÉE PRESTIGE EDIZIONE 47' CA' DEL BOSCO DESCRIPTION

Ca' del Bosco's Franciacorta Rosé Brut "Cuvée Prestige Edition 47" is an elegant and refined label, made with a preponderant percentage of Pinot Noir and a balance of Chardonnay. Like all Rosé wines, it is a well-structured Metodo Classico, with a remarkable aromatic richness and good taste persistence. Its notes of berries, pomegranate and floral nuances provide the experience of a long and satisfying sip, particularly suitable for gastronomic pairings with seafood, shellfish or delicate white meats.

The 'Cuvée Prestige' Brut Rosé Edition 47 is a Franciacorta that is part of the collection of one of the great names of the appellation. Ca' del Bosco was born in the mid-1960s out of Maurizio Zanella's passion for Champagne and his desire to start producing Metodo Classico in Erbusco, right in the heart of Franciacorta. Today, Ca' del Bosco is one of the territory's most prestigious brands, thanks to a continuous quest for excellence. The winery manages a total of 150 hectares, made up of a mosaic of vineyards spread over various areas. Each vineyard is vinified separately, so that there is a wide range of base wines when creating the cuvées. In addition to the vins clairs of the vintage, there are the reserve wines, the true heritage of the company. The wines are a faithful reflection of the rigorous and careful work in the vineyard and of vinification and ageing conducted with the utmost respect for the raw material.

Ca' del Bosco's Rosé Edition 47 Brut "Cuvée Prestige" is the result of a careful blending, which gives the emotion of a great Franciacorta. The Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed with brief skin contact and the must is then vinified in white. The Chardonnay is fermented separately. The base wines mature in steel for 7 months before being blended to create the final cuvée. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, with a minimum ageing on the lees of 30 months. In the glass it presents itself with a beautiful luminous pink colour. The perlage is very fine and persistent. The bouquet expresses floral aromas, notes of pomegranate, citrus and small berries. The sip is creamy and ample, with good structure and richness, and a harmonious and balanced finish. For lovers of great Italian wine an absolute certainty. For lovers of Rosé a bottle not to be missed.
