Feudi di San Gregorio's Aglianico 'Rubrato' is a young and versatile wine that reveals the fresher soul of the Irpinian reds: the grapes are vinified solely in steel. The brilliant ruby red colour introduces a very fruity bouquet, with hints of cherry and blueberry, with undergrowth, liquorice and mint on the finish. The palate is fresh and decidedly savoury, with soft tannins and a pleasantly balsamic finish. Ideal with roast meats, but also to be tried with dishes from Campania such as aubergine parmigiana or a rice sartù
Intense, brilliant ruby red
Aromas of wild black fruits such as currants and blueberries, liquorice and undergrowth, menthol finish
Balanced and very fruity, fragrant and warm, quite long and savoury on the finish
